Martijn ‘Tinus’ Winkel is a human being from a city called Rotterdam in the Netherlands. A mysterious rainy country located in Northwestern Europe below sea level. In that little country and in that little city he likes to write and weave together stories. He doesn’t like to call himself a writer just yet. But some people say that if you write, you are a writer. So that probably makes him one.
He usually writes about subjects like dreams, food, family, love, work, the future and emotions, among other things. But mostly about his emotions, because he has lots of them. Things that happened in his past or might be happening in the future. But mostly things that happen in his daily life. Uneventful as it is sometimes, there are always new things to tell.
One day he would like to publish his first book called Until You Fall Asleep, which he is currently working on. It’s a story about a man falling in love with another man. These days, it is no longer such a groundbreaking tale to tell. But there are never enough queer stories to tell. And it’s still a very important one, especially to Martijn.
